Compensations & Benefit Specialist and HR Controller
Human Resources
In full time, with permanent term contract
Responsibilities:
General
- actively participates in the execution of the HRM strategy, policies and plans of the Bank,
- takes part in HR process related GDPR tasks and requirements to ensure compliance with data protection regulations
Compensation and benefits
- takes part in collecting comparative market information, participates in salary surveys,
- actively participates in the annual Compensation Review process (provides support in decisions, prepares proposals, takes part in communication and administration), executes salary and bonus payments,
- prepares HR related guidelines, manages administration, taxation, ordering and distribution of local fringe benefits (Cafeteria),
- manages group-level benefits or deferred scheme
Personnel administration & reporting
- handles and updates all local and group-level electronic databases on employees,
- perform HC reports for local Controlling and for other departments (BCP, Compliance)
- upon request,
- contributes to personnel administration (joiners, leavers, internal transfers),
- ensures proper administration of vacations,
- participates in HR related management & Group reporting,
- directly contributes to BNPP operational permanent control frameworks.
HR Controlling & Budgeting
- ensures the sufficient control of HR related expenses,
- reconciles the HR related suspense accounts monthly, prepare reports on open items in collaboration with Finance,
- participates in the annual HR budgeting procedure and regular forecasts,
- manages year-end accounting liabilities (preparing and reconciles HR related accruals).
Payroll:
- being the prime contact for the external payroll services provider,
- provides all necessary information to the external payroll,
- manages all specific tax- and payroll related matters, the annual personal income taxation procedure (communication, administration) for expatriates with external advisor as well,
- manages year-beginning payroll-related procedures,
- meets all external (statutory) personnel related reporting requirements in close cooperation with local Reporting, if needed,
- communicates with employees about changes connecting to payroll, benefits and taxation,
- manages daily help-desk of employees' payroll queries.
Requirements:
- University or college degree, preferably in economics or finance
- Tax consulting is an advantage
- At least 3 years professional experience in HR, preferably in the field of compensation & benefits in a complex environment
- Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems, advanced Excel user experience
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with high customer orientation
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail
- Well-organized, independent, reliable and responsible, thorough personality
- Fluency in spoken & written English, Hungarian language knowledge is also required (mother tongue)
